Addiction therapy is essential to successful recovery. At Leona Valley Recovery, we know each client’s addiction experience is unique; that’s why our addiction therapy programs provide a range of psychological services. Our addiction therapy programs balance evidence-based treatment with spiritual care and relapse prevention planning.
Here at LVRC, we shed extra light on the importance of the respect our staff gives. The strength, teamwork, and bond (on professional level/upholding boundaries) is, we believe, extremely important to one’s recovery. That’s especially true through the methodology of our culture. After all, we’re inviting strangers from all over the nation and asking them to go through one of the most painful times of their lives, all while living together. The least we can do is to treat them exactly how they should be treated.
Beyond that, our staff is as qualified and credentialed as can be. We hired the very best of the best in each of their fields. We did not define “best” solely as “with the most credentials” (although that was of great importance) but also as those who were best able to work with people, to treat them with respect and humanity.
How Long Do People Stay for Residential Addiction Treatment?
There is no one set answer to this. Everyone is different; their situations vary, and so forth. That said, many stay for 30 days, but there are exceptions where some stay for longer. Everyone who arrives at Leona will receive a full, comprehensive evaluation to determine exactly how we can best treat them.
When in treatment, the main concern is your health and your recovery. That said, many employers make it possible to work with you through this time. Perhaps you can take some kind of leave, maybe you can make a particular arrangement. You may be eligible for the FMLA, the Family and Medical Leave Act. This is a conversation you can have with your employer. We’re more than happy to discuss options as well.
Additionally, some clients will be a good fit for the Partial Hospitalization Program. With that, you may be able to continue to work your job when you go home at night from LVRC.
What is the Confidentiality Policy at Leona?
Confidentiality is paramount. We understand how important your privacy is. Thus, we follow any and all federal guidelines when it comes to keeping your sensitive information confidential. Any communication related to you must be approved with your written consent. When at Leona, we maintain your confidentiality no matter what.
Every person is different, facing different challenges and presented with different opportunities. We maintain a highly structured treatment environment. Therapy, in one form or another, will be a part of essentially anyone’s treatment. You could meet with your therapist; you could be in a group session, and so forth.
That said, you won’t spend all of your days at Leona in therapy, counseling, etc. You’ll be doing plenty of self-exploration in our serene environment. That’s true whether you’re hiking, horseback riding, or just sitting by the pool. Each day here is put together in such a way as to be one step forward on your personal recovery.
When at Leona, your recovery is what’s most important. So, we ask you to leave your phones, credit cards, jewelry, computers, and other valuables at home. We do recommend that you bring essentially a week’s worth of clothes, nothing too luxurious, revealing, and so forth. We go into greater detail once you’ve begun the intake process.
At our facility, you can have visitors during specific visiting hours. Depending on your specific treatment plan, you may be a good fit for our “Partial Hospitalization Program,” which would enable you to go home at the end of a session.
Leona Valley Recovery Center provides drug and alcohol detox, residential treatment programs, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), addiction therapy programs, and inpatient detox services. Each of these are personalized programs designed to meet each client’s needs.
In most cases; yes, it is often the first step in a successful recovery program. Detox allows the body to adjust and begin healing from drug or alcohol abuse, providing a medically safe environment for rehabilitation. Moreover, detox cleanses the body of any toxins, thus allowing for a foundation to build a sober and happy life.
Inpatient detox programs provide around-the-clock care and supervision by medical professionals as the body begins to process substance use and withdrawal. Every person is different. Leona Valley Recovery Center and our staff are prepared to administer any necessary care to reduce detox symptoms and make the process more comfortable.
Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs) are designed for those who need more intensive treatment than an outpatient program can provide. During a PHP, individuals receive structured therapy and counseling multiple days a week for several hours daily.
Inpatient and outpatient programs are two distinct forms of addiction treatment. Inpatient programs provide 24/7 care and support while individuals reside at the facility, whereas outpatient programs provide therapy and counseling on an as-needed basis.
Residential treatment aims to help individuals struggling with addiction achieve long-term sobriety. Residential programs provide a safe, secure environment with consistent therapeutic support, allowing individuals to focus on their recovery without the temptations and triggers of their regular life.
At Leona Valley Recovery Center, we offer a 30-day residential treatment program with a capacity of six beds. The small, intimate number of clients allows us to truly focus on each individual. The traditional approach to addiction treatment is flawed, and we believe that a more focused, individualized approach offers the best results.
Aftercare services are designed to help individuals maintain their sobriety after treatment. These may include group therapy, individual counseling sessions, and support groups. At Leona Valley Recovery Center, we provide a continuum of care to ensure our clients remain on the path to long-term recovery.
The length of the recovery process depends on various factors, such as the individual’s addiction severity and underlying mental health issues. However, with a comprehensive treatment program and strong aftercare support, individuals can make significant progress in their recovery journey.
